Terms of Service

The agreement

By creating an account or otherwise using Soundboard (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We'll update this page as the product evolves and post the date of the most recent change at the top.

The Service is provided as-is

Soundboard is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do our best to keep the dashboards accurate and the data secure, but we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of derived analytics, or suitability of the data for any particular decision (including negotiations, contract decisions, or financial planning). The numbers we surface are estimates based on the reports you upload and the public industry benchmarks we link to — they are not audited and should not be treated as accounting records.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Soundboard is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

You own your data

The earnings reports you upload, your profile content, and the analytics we compute on your behalf are yours. We store and process this data only to provide the Service. You can delete your earnings data at any time from Settings → Data, and you can request a full account deletion by emailing legal@soundboard.app.

You grant us a limited license to process your uploaded data solely for the purpose of delivering the dashboard features you use. We don't claim ownership of your music, your earnings, or any creative work referenced in your data.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service. Examples of abuse include attempting to access another user's data, uploading malware or content you don't have rights to, scraping or reverse-engineering the Service, using the Service to harass others, and circumventing rate limits or billing.

Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is free. Paid plans (currently Pro at $19/month when launched) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Settings page, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. If you don't agree to a price change, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings or by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a legal or security risk. On termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days unless we're legally required to retain it.
